Treatment Process
The purpose of anti-wrinkle injections is to offer a non-surgical and minimally invasive solution to improving and maintaining the appearance of your skin.
Anti-wrinkle treatments work best for wrinkles cause by muscle overactivity, such as forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet.

It takes around 2-3 days to start to notice the effects of the anti-wrinkle treatment as it settles into the target muscles.
You should see full results by 14 days after your treatment. The anti-wrinkle treatment lasts approximately 3-4 months. Individual results may vary.

What's the difference
between dynamic & static wrinkles?
Dynamic Wrinkles
Dynamic wrinkles appear when expressing emotions or when smiling, frowning or furrowing our brow. These types of repetitive movements cause the skin in that area to stretch. When we’re young, the collagen and elastin in our skin allow it to return easily to its original state. Over time, the skin becomes less able to bounce back.
Static Wrinkles
Static wrinkles are formed because of a natural loss of tissue volume, collagen, and elasticity – i.e., the results of normal facial aging. They remain on our face even at rest and deepen with age.

It is important to abide by the following guidelines for the first 24-48 hours in order to ensure optimal results.
YOUR
SIMPLE
Do not touch/massage treatment area unless instructed by practitioner
No strenuous activity for 2-3 days, it will increase swelling & bruising
No makeup for minimum 4-6 hours. 24 hours is preferred
Avoid extremem heat (sun exposure, tanning beds, saunas, hot tubs etc)
No air travel for 72 hours and no major dental work for 2 weeks
Sleep on your back for 3-5 days if instructed by practitioner

PREPARE FOR
1. Research your procedure. It is a lot less stressful going into your appointment if you know what to expect.
2. Pictures helps me to visualize the look you’re going for and helps us make a plan going forward, while setting expectations.

3. Don’t drink alcohol the night before or take blood thinners. This will mean less bleeding and hopefully less downtime, brushing and swelling post injections. ⠀
4. Avoid caffeine the day of your treatment
5. Be transparent about your history and medications. This helps us avoid any complications!⠀
6. Have questions you have ready/written down. Its common to forget when you’re nervous. ⠀
7. Relax and enjoy. This is you-time and I am here to make sure your experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.⠀
